Montgomery, AL. -- With election day just days away, the stage is set for Josh Segall to complete what national congressional campaign observers are calling one of the most stunning election upsets in the country.

It was not long ago that Mike Rogers held a seemingly insurmountable 40-point advantage in the polls. Today, the race is seen by many as too close to call. In addition to an unrivaled ground attack on the part of the Segall camp, the turnaround is attributed to the recent national financial crisis and incumbent Rogers’ support of financial bailout package that punishes Alabama families.

“Mike Rogers’ approach to solving American’s financial crisis has been flawed from the beginning and the people of the district know it,” said Segall. “Rogers has betrayed us by supporting an irresponsible financial bailout bill and refusing to fight to include any help at all for the people of East Alabama. Mike put the interests of Wall Street CEO’s over the needs of the people of Alabama”
